This February, the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (CTEI) and the First-Year Seminar (FYS) program hosted a Lunch and Learn, providing an open conversation about FYS from a faculty perspective, including how they approach this kind of teaching, and what they enjoy most. The Lunch and Learn consisted of four faculty panelists who have previously taught an FYS (Dean Christopher Celenza, Professor Marisa O’Connor, Professor Karen ní Mheallaigh, and Professor Lilliana Mason) and was moderated by FYS director, Aliza Watters.
