All students in the  Whiting School of Engineering are required to complete one First-Year Seminar (FYS) in either the fall or the spring of their first year. Whiting students may choose either a discussion-based seminar or a design-focused seminar. Students should consult their academic advisor before registering.

The seminars the following link are available to WSE students and can be found using the JHU Public Course Search. Be sure to look at the “Special Notes” section for FYS courses to confirm any additional restrictions.
